Hello! I am the creator of Master of Tides, CK.

I started this story when I was in high school as a means to expand the mermaid genre. I was used to only seeing romance stories with mermaids or adventure stories where mermaids leave the ocean to explore the land. But I wanted to read a story exploring the vastness of the ocean, thus, I decided to create one myself! Just as there are writers who create stories exploring the majesties of the forests and mountains, life in the skies and beyond in space, I want to be a writer to bring a similar sense of imagination and wonderment to the sea.
